ALL POSTER DESIGNS WERE MADE FOR @STJOANORART INSTAGRAM
INSPIRED BY MOVIES, MUSIC, TV, ETC... ALL WITH VARYING DESIGN STYLES
I created these metal Whataburger designs after seeing a metal inspired HEB design. I hand-drew the font along with the metal flair behind the text. Inside the design, you will find easter eggs related to Whataburger like the stacked w’s in the back of the design, the small burger at the bottom, and the iconic Whataburger shaped roof right under it.
In search of new creative challenges, I decided to make a shoe design as it was something new for me. I opted for a Squid Game related design because the final season had just premiered. I mocked up two versions of the shoe, one pink to represent the guards in the show and the teal version to represent the players.
Inspired by “The Boys” spin-off, “Gen V”, I designed seven unique character posters to match each of their powers and personalities in a grunge-graffiti style that fits the show. Once published on instagram, the official show account along with some cast members interacted with the post through likes and comments.
After the release of Karol G’s “Tropicoqueta” album, I became inspired by a specific font for the song “Papasito”. In the design, I expanded upon the font and completed the missing letters by handrawing the remaining lyrics of the song. For the front, I used the heart on the original font and made it into a simple yet aesthetic design.
I created these designs after watching each of these movies and show. Each design follows a grunge style as it was what I was exploring at the time. These designs also gained attention from official castmembers from each project.
